ELECTRONIC SPORTS AND GAMING SUMMIT (ESGS)
2018 - 2022
ESGS is Gariath’s annual esports and gaming convention that serves as a launchpad and showcase for different game developers, publishers, endemic and non-endemic brands, talents and partners.
Usually a big-venue event, it has since adapted to an online set-up since the pandemic, retaining most of its features, shows and tournaments from its onground counterpart.
In 2020, ESGS won gold in the Marketing Event Awards held in Singapore.
REV MAJOR
2018 - 2019, 2021-2022
REV Major is Gariath’s most-awaited event for the fighting game community, where top local and international personalities and players come together to compete and enjoy the show.
REV Major was also host to the Asia Pacific leg of the Tekken World Tour.
In 2021, the event forays into its first online show while still keeping to its trademark tournaments, showmatches and surprises with REV MAJOR: LOCKDOWN.
MLBB PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON 7-8
2021
MPL (MLBB Professional League) is the official regional league for MLBB, and serves as the qualifiers for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asian Competition (MSC) since 2017.
MLBB SOUTHEAST ASIA CUP
2019, 2021
MSC is the Southeast Asia culmination of the MLBB tournaments held in the region, including teams from Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos.
In 2021, Gariath operated the Philippine broadcast of the MSC.
THE NATIONALS
2019 - 2022
The Philippines first franchise-based esports league. The Nationals aims to up the ante for Philippine esports by reinforcing career opportunities on a long-term for players and talents. The Nationals is powered by some of the most prominent brands in Philippine esports and is also televised to also tap into the general mass, and onboard even non-esports fans into its ecosystem.Â
TM FUNLARO
2020 - 2022
TM FunLaro is a nationwide grassroots esports program spearheaded by the telco company TM. The program features a series of mobile tournaments for games like MLBB and CODM, and as well as opportunities for future esports and content creators through its talent search.Â
TM FunLaro expands every year covering more regions, more cities and reaching more players.Â
FIBA ESPORTS OPEN
2020 - 2021
FIBA Esports Open is the inaugural series of NBA2K exhibition games. The FIBA Initiative was used as an avenue to engage both the basketball and gaming communities together through the game during the pandemic.
TATAKAI PH
2021
Tatakai Pilipinas is a Tekken Online Challenge dojo event that gives representation to players from the Philippines & East Asia Region. Like many Tekken dojo events, the three-day event gave players the opportunity to rank up towards the Tekken Online Challenge Masters Event. Â
TEKKEN ONLINE CHALLENGE
2020 - 2021
The Tekken Online Challenge is an annual event that gives players the platform to rank up levels and amp up in bragging rights. Tekken Online Challenge for the Philippines and East Asia region has been a partner since 2020, and has since come back for the 2021 Masters and Regional Finals Tournaments.
NBA 2K
2020 - 2021
2K, best known for their yearly NBA2K game releases, have always pushed the boundaries of gaming and esports. They’ve always used events, shows and tournaments to aid the communication of their new titles to their communities. Some of their projects include the NBA 2K Championships, NBA 2k Pacific Pro-Am, NBA 2K game launches and NBA 2K Fest.
